Ocala crews responded to a four-car wreck, just as an afternoon rain storm blew through the area on May 13.
Units from Ocala Fire/Rescue were dispatched to Southwest College Road near 17th Street. Crews found a multi-vehicle wreck with an SUV on its side.
Seven firefighters, operating one engine, one light rescue and a heavy rescue blocked traffic and initiated advanced life support trauma care to the five injured people. None of the injuries was life-threatening.
