Maryland Firefighters Battle Building Fire

At 1652, Area Box 502 was sounded for 565 Keith Lane for the building fire.

Engines 51, 52, Squad 5, Tanker 5, Ambulances 58 and 59, Chief 5, 5a, and 5c responded. Chief 5 reported a single-story end of the row warehouse with heavy smoke from side C and D and fire from side A.

The crew of Engine 51 advanced 200' 1 3/4" through the front door and extinguished the bulk of the fire. Personnel from Squad 5 searched and ventilated. Chief 5 had command. Crews were held for almost four hours doing overhaul and assisting the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
