On August 28, 2004, Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department Station #7, in Northwest Harris County, Texas participated in the "Fill The Boot" campaign for "MDA."
Fire Fighters from station #7 stood on the corners of Hwy 290 at Spring Cypress with their boots and collected donations from the residents in the Cypress, Texas community. Firefighters from all eleven stations have gone out several times over the past few weeks to collect money for MDA.
Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire department has collected over $30,000 dollars so far and the amount is still increasing.
For the past several years, Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department has been one of the largest contributors from the Houston area for MDA.
