The Charlotte Fire Dispatch was called just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 with a report of a trailer on fire at 3901 Barringer Drive.
When members of the CFD arrived at the Sonoco Recycling Company they were able to contain a fire that had engulfed a trailer.
The burning trailer was estimated to be half full of paper product. No injuries were reported and the building suffered no damage. The cause of the fire appears to be accidental.
