YOUNGSTOWN, OH - A daytime third alarm fire heavily damaged two local businesses Sunday bringing all 17 pieces of apparatus in the city to the scene.

The fire at 904 Tod Avenue was dispatched shortly after 1pm. Engine 7 reported heavy smoke in the area as they left their quarters. Battalion 1, which is stationed a few blocks away at the main fire station along with Ladder 22 and Squad 33, called for a second alarm immediately upon arrival. Engines 7 and 3 located their trucks at the front of the fire building and began making an interior attack. Squad 33 tied their truck into the building
