At approximately 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, Phoenix, Ariz. crews reported to the scene of a taxi cab fire near the intersection of 44th and Washington.
Firefighters from Engine 29 responded.
No passengers were in the cab at the time of the blaze. The driver escaped without injury. The cab's driver said he felt the vehicle become sluggish before smelling smoke.
