Michigan Crews Respond to House Fire

Command reported heavy smoke and fire conditions.

On Monday, Feb. 23 around 8:30 a.m., the Eastpointe Fire/Rescue in Macomb County, Mich. received a call of a house fire at 16234 Ten Mile Road.

Command found heavy smoke and fire conditions. Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and a quick knock was made.

Neighbors reported that the occupant was not home, and a primary search proved the same. Off duty call backs were made, bringing additional manpower to the scene to aid in overhaul and clean up.

Crews worked for over an hour to control the fire.
