Orange County Fire Department units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Monday, July 26, at the intersection of Silver Star Rd and Good Homes Rd.

Orange County Fire Department units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Monday, July 26, at the intersection of Silver Star Rd and Good Homes Rd. While enroute, additional information was received that this was a city bus vs garbage truck and a pickup truck. Additional units were dispatched.

Units on scene found a city bus had moderate damage to the front. The Garbage truck had rolled onto a pickup truck. 10 people complained of injury. No one was entrapped. Approximately 100 gallons of motor oil, hydraulic fluid and diesel fuel were on the ground.

A Level 1 MCI was requested and patients were triaged and treated on scene. 8 Patients were transported by ground and air units. The hazards were contained and vehicles were stabilized.

Units on scene included: Engine 43, Rescue 42, Squad 3, Rescue 30, Engine 30, Division 1, Battalion 2, Battalion 1, Safety 2, EMS1, EMS2, Squad 1, Rescue 28, Fire Star 1, Engine 28, Engine 40, Truck 30, Rescue 41 and Health Central / Rural Metro Ambulances.
