Missouri Firefighters Respond to Blaze

A moderate wind caused an exposure problem on side D, which was protected by a hand line while the tankers deck gun was prepared.

On Sunday, Oct. 21, members of the Elsberry Fire Protection District in Lincoln County , Mo. responded to the report of a structure fire.

Upon arrival the home was found to be well involved with partial collapse. The house was unoccupied and an exterior attack was made.

A moderate wind caused an exposure problem on side D, which was protected by a hand line while the tankers deck gun was prepared. Lincoln County Ambulance and Elsberry Police Department also responded to the scene with LCAD Medic 3 and 6705 providing rehab.

It was a very busy weekend for this small department, as this is the third structure fire in less than 36 hours.
