Firefighters from at least 10 other departments helped battle the blaze.

On July 31, firefighters from the Lewisville, Texas Fire Department were cleaning up after a 2-alarm blaze on the north side of the city when they received word of another fire on the city's south side.

The blaze quickly escalated to four-alarms. Fire crews from Carrollton, The Colony, Coppell, Denton, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Highland Village, Lake Cities, and Plano Fire Departments responded to the scene as well as the Denton County Office of Emergency Management.

Crews were also assisted on scene by the Lewisville Fire Department Reserve Division who handled the large task of rehab for all of these crews along with several other duties.
