Pottstown, Pennsylvania Firefighters Battle Five Alarm Warehouse Blaze

Pottstown, Pennsylvania firefighters were called to 26 S. Washington St on July 13th for a building fire. Upon arrival, units found a three story brick warehouse that had been vacant for many years with heavy smoke showing from all three floors and fire on the first floor.

Pottstown, Pennsylvania firefighters were called to 26 S. Washington St on July 13th for a building fire. Upon arrival, units found a three story brick warehouse that had been vacant for many years with heavy smoke showing from all three floors and fire on the first floor.

Within minutes of arrival, the building was completely consumed by fire. The building collapsed into itself within 90 minutes. The fire reached 5 alarms and manpower stayed on location for two days.

The cause is still under investigation by the State Police Fire Marshals
