New Jersey Firefighters Battle Building Blaze

No injuries were reported on the fire ground.

Shortly after midnight on April 12, Berlin, N.J. firefighters were dispatched for a reported building fire on Rt. 73 at the vacant Camper World building.

Command arrived and reported a vacant warehouse with heavy smoke showing. The all hands was sounded on arrival. Crews arrived and set up for defensive operations.

Shortly into the job, command reported heavy fire conditions through the roof with the roof collapsing.

Crews went in operation with multiple ladder pipes, hand lines and a deck gun.

Crews remained in defensive operations as the fire was brought under control.

No injuries were reported on the fire ground. The location of this fire is directly across the highway of the scene of the last Berlin fire where crews battled multiple cars on fire at a dealership.
