Minnesota Firefighters Respond to College Blaze

No injuries were reported.

Roseville, Minn. firefighters responded to a report of a fire alarm sounding and smoke showing in a residence hall on the campus of Northwestern College on March 31.

Companies arrived to find heavy smoke conditions in a parking garage located under a two-story apartment building.

Residents were evacuated upon the fire department's arrival.

Crews made entry with 2 and 1 3/4-inch lines through the garage to find two vehicles burning in the garage without sprinklers. Roseville was assisted by Lake Johanna, New Brighton and St. Anthony Fire Departments.

No injuries were reported and the fire was under control within 15 minutes of arrival.
