Air Force Fights Fire with 115 Degree Temps in Iraq

There were no injuries despite the extreme heat.

Air Force Staff Sergeant Kevin Jones, Air Force Airman First Class Joseph Legg, Air Force Airman First Class Lucas Garduno and Air Force Airman First Class Brandon Smith, all of Ali Air Base Fire Department, fight fire and 115 degree temps at the "Rhode House" motor pool in southern Iraq on June 19, 2007.

The 407th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron extinguished the blaze, protecting nearby ammunition stocks. There were no injuries despite the extreme heat. A faulty air conditioner is the suspected cause of the fire.
