The Hagerman Fire Department was dispatched for a signal 13 at 02:00 hours the morning of July 4, 2004.
Upon arrival of the Chief of the Department, Michael Seidman, a signal 35 (working fire) was transmitted.
Mutual aid was requested for a FAST team from the Bellport Fire Department and the fire was placed under control in about two hours.
