On the morning of June 28, 2004 the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in the Carriage Lane Subdivision in Northwest Harris County, Texas.
District Chief Jason Roberts was the first unit to arrive and reported heavy fire from a one story residence. Chief Roberts assumed command and had his first in company Ladder 10 make a fast attack and start a primary search.
Engines 2,10, Jersey Village 3531, Rescue 3, Cy-Fair Foam 2 and Cy-Fair Rehab also assisted with the extinguishment and overhaul.
The Harris County Fire Marshall's Office was called in to investigate the fire. At this time the investigation is still ongoing.
