The Alvarado, Texas Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire three blocks from their station on June 15, 2004 at 11:28 AM. Upon arrival, they found a fully involved structure consisting of a single-wide mobile home with rooms added on.
Mutual aid was provided by the Keene VFD and the Lillian VFD. The mobile home in the rear of the added rooms was totally destroyed.
