Hotel Fire in Chesterfield County, Virginia

Red Cross helped with housing of the displaced.

On March 22,2007 at 1130 hours, Chesterfield Fire & EMS responded to a Hotel fire at 2201 Indian Hill Road that was occupied by twenty adults and children. On arrival of the first units, found heavy fire showing from the front of the hotel and fire running the entire roof line from the ridge vent Responding units were Engines14, 18,1,12, Truck 14, Truck 12, Battalions 1,2 and Tactical Safety Officer. Additional units Engine 17 Company 6.

A heater started the fire. Red Cross helped with housing of the displaced.
