Vacant Building Burns in New Jersey

The building had been vacant for some time.

At 2323 hours on March 19, a Waterford Township police officer reported heavy fire showing from a building fire next to the car wash at 423 White Horse Pike.

At the 10 minute mark, command reported they had two 2" handlines in operation as the fire remained doubtful. After 20 minutes, the bulk of the fire was knocked.

The Camden County Fire Marshals are investigating, and police called for the crime lab to assist.

The fire was placed under control at 0012 hours. No firefighter injuries were reported.
