On February 21, 2007, Cranston Fire Dept responded to 14 Suez Street at "Rihani Plastics Incorporated" just after midnight for a reported structure fire.

First due companies found a 50x100 1sty cinderblock constructed commercial building with heavy fire conditions in the Alpha-Bravo corner.

Companies attempted an aggressive interior attack but were withdrawn by the OIC due to the integrity of the masonry walls.

Ladders 2 and 3 set up their pipes to blast the heavy fire now venting from the roof. Ground crews deployed 2.5 lines to protect the severely threatened exposures on sides 1, 2, & 3.

The bulk of the heavy fire was knocked down about an hour into this spectacular fire.
