On February 18, 2007 in Mortlake, East Brooklyn Danielson ET-161, Central Village & Atwood Hose FAST teams were dispatched to a structural fire at 17 Oakridge Dr. Upon the arrival of the first Mortlake Fire Officer, a heavy amount of fire had already consumed a good portion of the structure.
The fire was fought from a defensive standpoint, and a tanker shuttle was established bringing; Moosup, Plainfield, Attawaugan, Dayville, South Foster RI, Canterbury, Chaplin and South Killingly. The fire spread rather quickly from the wind, destroying the home.
