Around 10 a.m. on February 14, 2007 Warren Township, Indianapolis, fire fighters were dispatched to a house fire at Braxton Ct. Upon arrival Engine 445 reported heavy smoke and fire showing. Extra Companies were sent right after the intial dispatch due to the numerous calls.
Second engine 441 laid a line, but unfortunately the plug was froze and covered in snow. After getting a line from engine 444, they then precided to set up ladder 443 and attack the fire. Due to the fire consumption on the house, the primary objective was to protect the exposures.
The cause is still under investigation
