The Wyoming, Michigan, Fire Department was dispatched to a reported apartment fire at 2339 hours on 6-8-04. Upon dispatch, the first due engine officer requested a second alarm. Engine 77 and squad 87 arrived on scene to a three story apartment building with heavy fire showing through the roof on the a-b side of building. Engine Company 77 transmitted a third alarm and assumed command.
