Noontime House Fire in Salisbury, Maryland

The fire was located and contained in a third floor bedroom and quickly knocked down.

At approximately 11:59 a.m. on November 26, 2006 Salisbury Fire Department Stations 1, 2 and 16 were alerted for a reported house fire in Station 1's first due area. Paramedic 1 was the first arriving unit and reported heavy smoke from side "B". While Engine 16 established the initial attack and was supplied by Engine 11 while Truck 16 accessed the roof for ventilation via the aerial.

Truck 2's crew performed interior ventilation as well. The fire was located and contained in a third floor bedroom and quickly knocked down. The scene was declared under control at approximately 12:22 p.m. Crews then focused their efforts on salvage and overhaul with the last units clearing at 1:30 p.m.
