Firefighters were battling a four-alarm fire Saturday at a pre-built home manufacturing plant in Burleson, officials said.

The fire broke out at the Palm Harbor Homes Center on 401 South Burleson Road at 3:30 p.m.

Burleson firefighters were assisted by crews from the Fort Worth Fire Department as well as Forest Hill, Briar Oaks, Crowley, and Tarrant County fire departments.

While there are no residences near enough to the scene to be affected, there are two hotels next door to the property. Officials said the hotels had not been evacuated, but the fire marshal was watching the situation.

Traffic on southbound Interstate 35 into Burleson was also being affected by the fire.

There was no word on whether there were injuries, or how the fire started.
