Three Rescued From Camden City, NJ Dwelling Fire

Tones rang through Camden City around 1 a.m. on November 22, 2006. County Radio dispatched a dwelling fire at 312 Mickle Blvd.

CAMDEN CITY, NJ -- Tones rang through Camden City around 1 a.m. on November 22, 2006. County Radio dispatched a dwelling fire at 312 Mickle Blvd.

Engines 1,6,8, Ladders 1,2 and Battalion 1 were dispatched for a possible dwelling fire. County Radio advised units of posible entrapment.

Engine 1 arrived with heavy fire showing and entered the dwelling to perform a search. Battalion 1 arrived and reported a 3 story end of the row dwelling with heavy fire on the number 2 floor. Battalion 2 was added to the box.

Two occupants were located on the 2nd floor and removed. EMS reported both victims were in respiratory arrest.

The Ladder crew located a victim on the roof and was removed as well. EMS reported the 3rd victim to have severe burns.

Battalion 2 requested and additional Engine (11) and Ladder (3) to the scene. Car 3 responded as well.

The fire went to an 'All Hands' alarm and was placed under control at the 40 minute mark.

The Camden County Fire Marshals Office as well as the Camden City Fire Marshals Office are investigating the fire.

EMS was called to Engine 8's quarters for a firefighter injury that occured during the fire.
