Washington Firefighters Fight Truck Fire

On Saturday, May 22/04, unit's from the City of Auburn Fire Department, Washington, District 44, were dispatched to a truck fire on Hwy 18. Units arriving found a Ford F-250 which was towing a Jeep, fully involved.

On Saturday, May 22, units from the City of Auburn Fire Department, District 44, were dispatched to a truck fire on Hwy 18. Units arriving found a Ford F-250 which was towing a Jeep, fully involved.

Captain Tom Marino and his crew attacked and quickly knocked down the fire and detached the Jeep and pushed it to a safe location. Halmatro rescue tools were used in opening the doors to the truck for overhaul. There were no injuries to the driver of the truck or firefighters on scene.

Assisting on scene were firefighters from Mountain View Fire Dept, District 44.
