Somerville, Massachusetts 6th Alarm

On November 4, 2006 firefighters from Somerville, Massachusetts and many surrounding cities battled a stubborn 6 alarm fire in a 1 story building. Shortly before 7p.m. Box 117 was struck for a report of a building fire at 82 Broadway.

C-2 was first to arrive and immediately ordered a 2nd alarm to be struck. Companies encountered heavy smoke and fire conditions in the building. At one point, exposure 3 was severely threatened. The fire took nearly 4 hours to control.
