An automobile fire in Camden, New Jersey sent a large column of thick black smoke high into the air.

An automobile fire in Camden, New Jersey sent a large column of thick black smoke high into the air. New Jersey Squad Co. 7 and Ladder Co. 1 reported to the November 6 blaze.

Ladder Co. 1 was the first on location. Captain Joel Bain reported the fire was heavily involved. Squad Co. 7 arrived moments later. Captain Warren Everett had members go in with a 1 ¾ inch line.

It took firefighters 10 minutes to get control of the fire.
