Mexicali Mexico Firefighters responded to a report of a warehouse on fire on Tuesday May 11, 2004 at aproximately 12:25pm.
Firefighters responded quickly and arrived to find heavy fire showing from a large warehouse containing cardboard boxes.
It took 4 alarms worth of equipment, 45 firefighters and nearly 5 hours to bring the fire under control.
Firefighters were hampered by record high temperatures that were in the low 100's.
There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported, the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
