Bucks County, Pennsylvania Home Under Construction Burns

A 2 1/2 story, approx. 8200 sq. foot house under construction was set on fire by a construction worker's van.

A 2 1/2 story, approx. 8200 sq. foot house under construction was set on fire by a construction worker's van. The van, which was parked next to the garage, caught fire in the engine compartment. The fire quickly spread to the residence. In the back of the van was a container that the painter poured his used paint thinner into.

There were several explosions. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The companies involved in fighting this fire were: Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Co, Newtown Fire Company, Southampton Fire Company and Tr-Hampton Rescue Squad M115 and SS114 for rehab.
