Braintree, Massachusetts -- On April 20, 2004, shortly after 9:30 PM, a call came in for a possible house fire.
Upon the arrival of Ladder 2 and Engine 1, the rear of the house was already fully involved. On the orders of Lt. Tim Starkey, a second alarm was struck immediately because of short staffing that evening.
