General Alarm Sounded for Galveston, Texas Apartment Blaze

On April 22, at approximately 10:30 PM, Galveston Firefighters responded to an apartment fire.

30+ MPH winds off the Gulf of Mexico, across the street, fanned the flames to the point a general alarm was pulled with all six of Galveston's stations responding.

The residential structure housed 18 units, all of which were destroyed. No injuries were reported, but several pets were lost.
