Car Crashes into Connecticut McDonald's

The restaurant closed for the night and re-opened in the morning.

On July 4, the Old Mystic Fire, Conn. Department along with Mystic River Ambulance were dispatched to the McDonald's Restaurant for a car into a building with injuries. First arriving units found one car into the exterior wall of the restaurant that lead into the dinning room.

All occupants that were in the vehicle refused treatment from the fire dept and the ambulance obtained refusals while the fire dept checked the inside of the structure for damage to the supporting walls.

No other damage was found and a building official was called to the scene. The restaurant closed for the night and re-opened in the morning.
