On Sunday, June 15, the Grandville Fire Department was dispatched to a reported car fire on the Eastbound exit ramp from Interstate I-196 to 44 St. Units arrived to a fully involved 1997 BMW sedan.
Squad 159 arrived and under the Command of FF/EMT Tom Blake, Engines 151 and 152 responded & knocked down the fire using the 100" 1 1/2" front jumpline.
No injuries occurred as the occupants of the vehicle were able to safely exit the vehicle prior to fire involvement.
Grandville Fire was assisted on scene by Grandville Police.
