Midway, Georgia (Liberty County) -- At 14:42 hours, Liberty County 911 dispatched Midway & Eastern District Fire to 570 Bill Carter Road for a reported structure fire via 911.
Midway Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene reporting a one story wood frame dwelling fully involved.
Crews pulled multiple hand lines and made an initial attack. Command requested Georgia power for disconnection and the Liberty County Fire Investigator J. Ashdown. Upon further investigation the fire started on the front porch and spread to the structure causing the home to be a total loss.
All occupants were out of the structure prior to arrival.
