No one was injured in the blaze

The three residents of this Dartmouth Street house in the Village Hempstead, NY somehow escaped this spectacular early morning blaze that erupted in their home Thursday morning June 6.

Firefighters were summoned to the two-story private dwelling around 2:30 a.m. and found a tremendous amount of fire throughout the residence.

Initial reports stated that people might have been trapped, but all were found safe at a neighbors home across the street. The house was cluttered with contents which included a motorcycle and an ATV. Several surrounding departments provided mutual aid.

Fire Marshals were immediately called to the scene due to the heavy volume of fire. No serious injuries were reported. Chief Tom Talento in command.
