June 6, 2008
Smoke could be seen for miles.

On June 4, just before 1 p.m., Denver firefighters were alerted to th 2400 block of South Saint Paul Street for a structure fire.

Firefighters found a large two-story home with heavy fire conditions in the rear. Upon completion of a 360, fire was found extending from the lower level garage to the attic and into a neighboring exposure.

A second alarm was quickly transmitted as crews went to work. Smoke could be seen for miles. One patient was transported for serious burns. The incident was brought under control in about 30 minutes.

No injuries any firefighters occurred.

This was the third structure fire in less than 12 hours for many of the same crews. The first two fires were in churches and determined to be arson.
