There were no injuries to either civilians or firefighters.

New Orleans firefighters battled a two alarm blaze that severely damaged a fraternity house on Tuesday, April 29.

A first alarm assignment arrived at the two story frame dwelling at 642 Broadway to find heavy fire showing from the second floor front.

The first due engine blitzed the flames using their stang and tank water, knocking down a large amount of the fire. Hand lines than moved in to finish off the blaze.

All occupants safely escaped.
