Minneapolis Firefighters Contain Dwelling Fire

A one alarm fire damaged a two-and-a-half story home in Minneapolis on Feb. 11.

The crew of Engine 15 found heavy smoke pushing from the home on 26th Avenue NE about 1 p.m.

The fire started in the basement and crews found and contained the fire to the first floor.

The fire was placed under control in 15 minutes.

Three engines, two trucks, one rescue, three chiefs and two support units responded.
