Over 100 Cars Burn in Texas Storage Lot

During the early afternoon hours on Nov. 19, the Little York Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle fire at the Tex-Mex Truck Store and Storage Lot.

Firefighters arrived to at the scene and found multiple vehicles on fire.

Units from Aldine, Westfield, Eastex, Northwest, Klein, Houston and Spring Fire Departments were called in to help with water supply.

The Harris County Hazardous Materials Response Team was also called in to assist. HM-2, a Type-1 Foam Tender supplied aerial trucks with foam to extinguish the fire.

The Harris County Fire Marshal's Office Fire investigators said that over 138 vehicles were burned in the fire. The fire was caused from a worker using a torch at one of the vehicle's that spread quickly.
