Neighbor Calls in Ore. House Fire

A 911 caller that a neighboring home in the 13000 block of SW Berthold in Beaverton was on fire at 12:19 p.m. on Nov. 27.

In less than four minutes of being dispatched, firefighters from Tualatin Valley Station 67 arrived and began to fight the fire from the outside. The occupants had already evacuated.

Though firefighters knocked down the fire within 12 minutes, the small home was destroyed.

It is unclear how the fire started or whether the home had working smoke alarms. 

An adult female occupant was transported by Metro West after the fire was out.
