Flames Consume Chicago Warehouse

Chicago firefighters responding to report of smoke in the area ended up battling four-alarm (4-11) fire on the city's West Side on Dec. 29.

Engine 23 dispatched for a rubbish fire and additional callers reported prompted a full assignment be dispatched.

Crews found smoke showing from the first and second floors of the three-story furniture warehouse.

The fire reached four alarm and firefighters used Snorkels, aerial pipes, squads and hoselines to contain the fire. 

Before the fire was brougth under control several walls collapsed.
