Fire Guts Minneapolis Home

Minneapolis firefighters used hoselines and aerial master streams to contain an early morning house fire Dec. 24.

The fire at 2501 Girard Ave. North was called in around 5 a.m.

Despite an interior attack, heavy fire gained possession of the structure and firefighters pulled out for a defensive attack.

The fire left several people homeless.
