N.Y. Firefighters Conduct Ice Rescue Training
Firefighters recently participated in ice rescue training in Machias.
The session was hosted by the Machias Fire Department and crews from neighboring Franklinville, Farmersville and Lyndon took part.
Crews manned ropes while “victims” dressed in wet suits were “rescued” from the cold waters of Lime Lake.
