Water Shuttle Set up to Contain House Fire in Canada

A neighbor kicked a door in to save a dog from a house fire in Quispamsis, New Brunswick on May 4.

Kenebecasis Valley Fire Department received a call of a structure fire on Alderbrook Drive in the middle of the morning.

Upon arrival crews found heavy fire conditions in the single-story wood structure with an attached garage.

Mutual aid requested and several surrounding volunteer departments, including Nawigiwauk and Kingston, provided tankers for water shuttle.

The homeowners were reported to be away at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.

No cause of the fire has been determined and the scene is under investigation.
