Photo Story: Seven Hurt in N.C. Interstate Crash

A two car collision on Interstate 95 in North Carolina left seven people injured on June 26.

The Battleboro Fire Department, with Nash and Halifax County EMS units, responded around 4:30 p.m. to Interstate 95 near mile marker 150.

Crews found an SUV overturned and a passenger vehicle on shoulder of the roadway.

A medical helicopter was requested to transport one person with major injuries, but weather prohibited the flight. Two adults from the SUV and five from the car were transported by EMS personnel to Nash General Hospital.
