A Detroit firefighter was injured while moving a hoseline at the scene of a house fire on the city's eastside on July 5.

Firefighters say a car driving on Mack Avenue near the scene of a dwelling fire drove over a four-inch supply line while the firefighter was moving it. The hose caused the firefighter to fall and land on his head.

He was transported by Detroit EMS to an area hospital and is reported to be in good condition.

Units on scene: E-41/46/52/9 L-6 SQD-3 CH-6
