Photo Story: Medics Tend to Dogs After Conn. Crash

Three people were injured following a head-on collision on Route 81 in Higganum on July 11.

Members of the Haddam Volunteer Fire Company extricated the occupants, who were transported to the hospital by Haddam Ambulance.

Medical personnel evaluated two dogs involved in the crash. They were given water and they bandaged one of the dog’s legs. A Good Samaritan who witnessed the accident watched the dogs until a family member arrived to take them.
