A ferocious blaze burned through four apartments in a Fort Worth building early on Dec. 1.
Fort Worth firefighters responded to the Hills Apartments on West Normandale. The crews of Engine 23 and Quint 23 found one unit heavily involved. Flames were spreading to the second floor.
Firefighters began an aggressive attack and contained the fire to four apartments.
Two additional engines were called for manpower.
A resident of the original apartment was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
The fire was under investgation and may have been accidental in nature.
